Cork Chess Club Open 2009-10

 

 

Format: 7 round Swiss

 

Time System: 90 mins + 15 second increment for all moves.

 

Draw, and Dates for round completion, will be posted at the club and on the website.

Games to be played at the Club on Fridays except by mutual agreement.

 

Where applicable, players without ICU or FIDE ratings by January 2010 will only be eligible for 50% of prize money.

 

All entry fees to be paid up before end of round 2.

 

Prizes will be announced before round 3 draw.

 

ICU allegro finish rules will apply.

 

A tournament committee will be formed of participating players prior to round 2.

 

Defaults where no contact has been made by the defaulting party may result in expulsion from the tournament.

 

Final decision in the event of dispute rests with Peter Doyle.
