New Irish Champion - ALEX LOPEZ FM !!

Well he produced what we always knew what was coming. An exceptional performance by the clubs top player brings home what will surely will be the first of many. Cork Chess club donates €300 to 96FM's Cork 4 Kids Radiothon !

Joint winners for this years club championship

Congratulations to Steve Short & Paul Walsh who finished joint first on 6/7 in this years club championship. John Donoghue was third. Prize giving will be after end of season blitz Friday 28th May. Other winners were: Tom Hickey (David v Goliath), Grading prizes to David O Kelly, Anne Coughlan, Keegan O Mahony and Angus Gill.
